# Defective Yard Manager

# Defective Yard Manager

The Defective Yard manager acts like a container manager, with the feature to confirm defectives. The Defective Yard manager needs to be assigned to a **"defective yard" container**, in order to perform his role correctly.

As a defective yard manager you will need to **log in** and **clock in**, in order to use the app:

[![TJfimage.png](https://wiki.circl.services/uploads/images/gallery/2022-09/scaled-1680-/tjfimage.png)](https://wiki.circl.services/uploads/images/gallery/2022-09/tjfimage.png)

[![Home — clocked out.png](https://wiki.circl.services/uploads/images/gallery/2023-03/scaled-1680-/home-clocked-out.png)](https://wiki.circl.services/uploads/images/gallery/2023-03/home-clocked-out.png)

When clocked in, a defective yard manager needs to perform the **opening stock** take of the day. Similar to a container manager. Therefore all products need to be counted and reported in the opening stock:

After opening stock you can now start to:

**1) Manage your trips**

- You are able to create trips of type replenishment in order to send any products to the filling shed and/or to any container if needed.
- You can start loading/offloading pending trips to transport products to either filling, manufacturing, or any other container

**2) Confirm defectives**

- Any "suspected defective" cylinder that arrives at the defective yard, needs to be examined and if indeed defective it needs to be "confirmed as defective" from within the app screen

The defective yard manager is responsible for conducting a comprehensive stock count. This entails counting all the available stock and subsequently entering the respective quantities into the application. Once the stock quantities have been accurately recorded, the manager can proceed to close the stock.

The defective yard manager has the capability to initiate a product **movement** within the same location, transferring it from one area to another. To perform this action, the user must input information regarding the current location of the product, the destination container's location, and the product type. By providing these details, the defective yard manager can effectively execute the necessary product relocation within the designated location.
